The spirit of Troy hits an all time low, thanks to a deliciously intoxicating performance by the most famous alum in USC history....Marion Morrison.
Enjoy.

Why is this full grown starling in a cage, im rearing two baby starlings at the moment that fell from the nest on a busy street and will release them when theyre ready. Unless this bird has imprinted onto its owner from coming out of the egg , otherwise let it go free.

I recently obtobtained a baby starling. I couldn't let it die even though it's an invasive species so I decided to take care of it. I estimate he/she is only about two weeks old not flying but growing feathers. He/she is super sweet and climbs onto my lap for snuggles. Should I make plans to keep him since it's legal and hes so tame or should I continue with my plan to release? Also what age can they learn to mimic?

Saved two very young chicks this spring, they had jumped ship as i think one of the parents had been killed by our resident Sparrow Hawk, (Accipiter nisus) they were not being fed & they fell out of the nesting hole looking for parents. I managed to release one but one had hit the concrete path on way down & he is a bit backward. He has since started to swear like a trouper!!. He has had me spit my coffee out with what he has been calling me lately i have never laughed so much & he beautifully times it!!, my Sturnis vulgaris is a bloody Star!!!

cla.berkeley.edu/list.php Recordings are from late 1940s so if it sounds different from now, it's because it was way back then. And at the time our people were being recorded and interviewed by scholars because our people went through genocide. Look up Lake County history. We are still here.
